Species iris are the original genetic material from which today's beautiful hybrids are created. Just as do our hybridized iris, species iris come in many forms and colors, and grow in a wide variety of conditions. We focus on species that grow well in the Pacific Northwest.
Please note that these photo galleries are intended as a reference as well as pure enjoyment! Our photo collection has grown over many years and includes irises grown in many different locations. We DO NOT grow the vast majority of these irises!
